Quality Assurance
Quality Organization
The Interpoint Quality Organization works closely with the Lean Operational Excellence organization to ensure that processes in the entire value stream maximize value to the customer while minimizing waste.
Interpoint maintains a staff of Tool Champions who conduct training and kaizen events to facilitate continuous improvement. Quality ensures compliance to specifications and certifications by means of training, process controls, inspection & test, and qualification activities.
Quality Systems
The Interpoint Quality System is described in two documents. The Interpoint Quality Manual (QA-040) and the Interpoint ISO/AS/38534 procedure matrix (QA-093). Although QA-093 may be viewed, the procedures mentioned in QA-093 are proprietary and are available for review upon request. Please complete a Sales Inquiry form to request specific procedures using “QA procedure request” as the subject.
The Quality Policy of Interpoint Corporation is to strive for excellence in products and services which provide both our customers and our company with a competitive advantage. Our policy can be summarized as “build the best, ship the best, be the best.” Our long time customers know that we stand behind our products. The Quality Assurance and Certification application note provides an overview of systems, certifications, qualifications, standards and screening.
Interpoint’s Lead and Other RoHS Materials letter clarifies our position on Interpoint brand products with respect to the use of lead, pure tin, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBBs and PBDEs in relation to EU directives RoHS and WEEE.
