NEW! Crane Interpoint® MSA+ Series™ 15-50 Vin
Lynnwood, WA August 1, 2019 – Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of Crane Co. (NYSE:CR), has announced today the introduction of a new, higher-power, MSA+ as a drop in replacement for Crane’s MSA. According to Crane Modular Power Senior Director, Bob Myers “The MSA+ is a response to our customers’ request for a higher power, wider input voltage range and lower output ripple in our 1.13 square inch case.“
The MSA+ DC-DC converters have a power density of 15 watts per cubic inch, 15 to 50 volt input and magnetic feedback. The offset flange case option allows higher board density. The devices also incorporate Crane’s legendary reliability under harsh conditions, have a compact footprint and operate over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. The hermetically sealed, nickel plated, steel cases are 1.065 × 1.065 × 0.350 inches (27.05 × 27.05 x 8.89 mm) for the standard case. Order MSA+2805S samples now.
Crane Interpoint DC-DC converters are widely used on satellites, military aircraft, military vehicles and commercial aircraft including Mars’ Rovers, Ariane 5, Joint Strike Fighter F-35 and the Apache helicopter. For more information, download the datasheet at https://www.interpoint.com/MSA_series.
