Interpoint® GFM Series™ High Efficiency DC-DC Converter

Redmond, WA November 1, 2018– Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of Crane Co., has announced today the introduction of a new high efficiency DC-DC converter series. According to Crane Modular Power General Manager, Bob Myers “Our new Interpoint® GFM Series, sets a high bar for performance, reliability and value. Assembled in our Class K certified facilities, the GFM Series delivers state-of-the-art conversion performance with the same operational analysis, design stability and engineering support Interpoint military standard products are known for.”
The GFM Series is a family of fully isolated DC-DC converters providing 30 watts of power with a 15 volt output and up to 90% typical efficiency. The converters have an input voltage range of 8 to 50 volts and 80 volt transient protection. The devices also incorporate Crane’s legendary reliability under harsh conditions, have a compact footprint and operate over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. The hermetically sealed, nickel plated, steel cases are 2.84 × 1.110 × 0.400 inches (72.14 × 28.19 × 10.16 mm) for the flanged case. Additional outputs will be offered.
